Peach Not Plastic Healthy Strength Conditioner Bar

~ What ~
This small 2.8-ounce bar is for conditioning and strengthening hair without having to use a plastic container. Since one bar contains 3 8.5 bottles of conditioner, it does not add waste to the environment. With the first five ingredients of behentrimonium methosulfate, cetearyl alcohol, cocos nucifera oil, helianthus annuus seed oil, and natural fragrance, it has a fruity honeydew citrus scent. It contains no SLES, ALES, parabens, or synthetic colorants. Instructions on the box recommend rubbing the wet bar and gliding it in the hair, especially the lengths and ends. After using the fingers to spread throughout, rinse thoroughly.

~ Why ~
With long hair that is not chemically treated or colored, I like to use plant and flower-based treatments. In using this, I found the almost-apple smell pleasant but not obnoxious so it could be used on men’s hair. The bar has monoi (gardenia) oil to improve hair strength and elasticity plus coconut and sunflower seed oils and shea butter, which detangles damaged and split-prone hair. The bar would be ideal for travel use, especially if camping, hiking, or being outdoors for days.

~ Why Not ~
Some may not like the fruity scent as it seems catered to women more than men, but it does not linger long afterward. Others with dry, dull hair may need a stronger moisturizer over time.

~ Wish ~
While the bar has a strong scent, it would be great if its scent could last in one’s hair for hours like when wearing perfume or cologne.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a nice-smelling, plastic-free hair conditioner that keeps hair healthy while strengthening it, this is a perfect choice, especially if you want to use something eco-friendly.

Thanks to Peach Not Plastic for this complimentary sample that I am freely evaluating.
