Tuxepoc Baby Mitten & Silicone Teething Necklace

~ What ~
Made of 100% food-grade silicone, this set includes one teething mitten with a matching necklace for an infant 3 months or older to soothe his or her teeth. Available in mint green or light blue, the items are free of phthalate, latex, PVC, and BPA while being non-toxic and FDA approved. They arrive individually wrapped in a gift box with instructions, ready for giving.

~ Why ~
With 3 young grandchildren and several friends with grandbabies, I like to have shower gifts on hand, and these make a nice add-on that will be gratefully appreciated. I like that the mitten’s tips are rubberized so easy for infants to suck and chew. Having a Velcro strap at the opening of the mitten helps it stay on and can be used on either hand. The necklace has 3 beads with a cut-out leaf on a knotted cord.

~ Why Not ~
Those who do not have babies will not appreciate these teethers that are soft, pliable, and can be hand-washed. Others may be concerned the necklace’s cord may fray and the beads could fall off or a baby could choke on them.

~ Wish ~
Online it mentions there are mittens, yet only one glove is included with the necklace. One of the photos shows a hat, which should be noted is not included in the package. I am still unsure the necklace is completely safe.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a way to soothe your baby’s gums while he or she teethes, this is a good option.

Thanks for Tuxepoc for this discounted product that I am under no obligation to evaluate.
