Anitiz Silicone Muffin Pan

Muffin 1LOVE COOKING WITH SILICONE

~ What ~
Made of 100% food grade silicone that is BPA free, this pan can cook a dozen muffins. Measuring 12.9 by 1.2 by 9.8 inches, it can be put on a cookie sheet for baking in an oven and can be hand washed or put in the dishwasher. Instructions are not included, and the product comes wrapped in cellophane.

~ Why ~
I am a major fan of anything silicone. The key to using this muffin pan is to be sure to add oil to the mix when making any muffins so that the food does not stick to the sides of the pan but pop out effortlessly. I find the pliable material is easy to work with and clean plus the food seems to cook more evenly when using a convection oven. I make carb-free egg muffins often using it, and it makes my life in the kitchen easier.

~ Why Not ~Muffin 2
Those who do not like making home-made muffins will not be interested in this item. Others may think it is flimsy and yes, it is – so be sure to put it on a cookie sheet when baking or transporting. Many who do not know to add oil to the mix when baking will be disappointed as it will stick to the pan and make a mess.

~ Wish ~
I think the product should include instructions regarding adding oil (do NOT spray) and cleaning so have marked it down a point for this as many do not know about this important tip. With it being red, the pan would be ideal if in optional colors.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a way to make muffins without the clean-up hassle of food sticking to the edges, this is an excellent product but it should have instructions for newbies cooking with silicone.

Thanks to Anitiz for this free product that I am evaluating by choice.
