MhlL Walking Cane with Light

Cane 1COLLAPSIBLE SELF-STANDING WALKING STICK

What ~
Made of aluminum alloy and rubber, this black unisex walking cane expands from 32 to 37 inches. Able to fold to less than a foot long, it also comes with an attached wrist strap and built-in flashlight in its handle plus 3 extra tips for the tripod footing, enabling it to stand on its own. Instructions and the 2 required AA batteries for the light are not included.

~ Why ~
Since I volunteer weekly at an independent living facility, I notice how many tenants slip and often fall. With this freestanding cane, one feels confidence walking without falling. I like how it can stand on its own next to a sofa or chair, readily in reach, and it will not tip over. Having the flashlight easily accessible on the ergonomic handle is convenient by pressing a button.

~ Why Not ~Cane 2
Some may not think it provides enough support that a 4-wheel walker does, but it works for those who have slightly-imbalance issues. Others may get frustrated folding it, but the 4 sections separate by them pulling gently apart and folding.

~ Wish ~
It would be ideal if the flashlight was not stationary; being able to rotate it to a certain position for lighting would be helpful. I wish the 2 batteries were included so that it could be used right out of the box.

~ Want ~
If you are looking a durable, sturdy, and collapsible walking stick, this is a good selection.

Thanks to MhlL for this discounted product that I am freely evaluating.
