Mayoga Compact Umbrella

Umbrella 1WEATHERPROOF COMPACT UMBRELLA

~ What ~
Made of 210T pongee with nine aluminum and reinforced fiberglass ribs with a wood-looking handle, this compact black umbrella measures 12 inches long and 2 inches in circumference. When opened, it expands to approximately 4 by 2 feet. It comes with a carry bag, and instructions are included.

~ Why ~
We live in the Pacific Northwest where we get an average of 40 inches of rain, so we need durable protection. I like how this water-resistant micro-weaved fabric will keep us dry. Because it is so compact and lightweight, it is perfect to store in a small car trunk or interior side door pocket. Another nice feature is the easy-access button that automatically opens and shuts the ribs of the umbrella.

~ Why Not ~Umbrella 2
Some may not like using umbrellas while others may prefer the regular size that can also be used as a walking stick when closed. Others may struggle with getting it back in its carry sleeve, but it does fit nicely once you wrap the Velcro tabbed strap, push the telescopic frame into itself, and fold in the pliable fabric. Online it states its handle is wood, but it may be made of a durable plastic.

~ Wish ~
I wish the umbrella completely shut, including the telescopic shaft. Having it in other color options would be appreciated.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a weatherproof umbrella that looks professional and is compact, this would be a nice choice as it does look professional for a business person to use.

Thanks to Mayoga for this product that I am freely evaluating.
