Homde Children Placemat

Baby Placemat 1LARGE, NON-SLIP INFANT PLATE/MAT

~ What ~
Made of 100% food grade silicone that is BPA, PVC, lead, and phthalate-free, this green container can be placed on a flat surface and remain in place. Meant for infants five months or older or children learning to eat, it has 3 heart-shaped sections that form a 3-leaf clover. With the placemat measuring 10.2 by 8.4 by 1.2 inches, each of the sections hold 3 to almost 4 ounces. The product can be placed in the dishwasher for cleaning and is microwave, oven, and freezer safe. Instructions are included on the box.

~ Why ~Baby Placemat 2
With a grandson that is 8 months old, he is starting to eat more solids so this silicone placemat is ideal for putting on his tray table and adding a few soft foods for him to pick up and put in his mouth. I like the shape and ability to remain stationary on his tray. On my wood desk, it was securely in place, releasing only when I lifted its edge. Another plus is how large each of the 3 sections are so they hold plenty of food.

~ Why Not ~
Those who do not like placing food in front of a child in a highchair with a tray may think the product is not necessary. Others may consider their child would make a mess of trying to reach for the food in the sections, although it may enhance eye-hand coordination.

~ Wish ~
I wish the bowl could be available in other colors. Having more written information online regarding how much each section holds would be helpful.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for an immovable tray when feeding your infant, this is an excellent product.

Thanks to Homde for this product I was partially reimbursed and am evaluating by choice.
