La-Chef Grill Mats

Grill Mat 1GRILL WITHOUT YOUR FOOD FALLING INTO CHARCOALS

~ What ~
Made of PTFE coating on a fiberglass fabric, this grilling mat set includes 2 grill mats plus 1 grill mesh and one baking mat. All measure 16 by 13 inches and can withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees. The grill mats are 100% non-stick and reusable when barbecuing, keeping away the charcoal ash taste on food while cooking. Being 100% free of BPA, PFOA, and other harmful chemicals, they are FDA approved. Instructions are included on the packaging.

~ Why ~Grill Mat 2
The best feature of the product is that it can be used on top of an uncleaned grill (like at a park or picnic area). Without needing cooking spray or oil, the food cooks as quickly as without the mat. I like that all four are floppy so can easily be used, cleaned, and stored. Having the mat, food does not fall through to the briquettes while grilling. Adding the mesh and baking mats make it a good buy.

~ Why Not ~
Those who do not barbecue will think they do not need this product, but it works great in the oven to collect spills or when baking. Others may think it is too large for a small grill, but it can be cut to size with scissors. I found them a little too thin, but that may be why they are flexible.

~ Wish ~
I wonder if they will work on a George Forman Grill as that is a pain to clean.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a way to keep your grill and food clean, this is an inexpensive way to try it.
