Best Choice 2 Chrome/Leather Bar Stools

~ What ~
Made of chromed metal with tan faux leather, this set of 2 bar stools has foot rests, padded seats and backing with black trim, and a lever for adjusting height. Each measures 19 inches long, 18 inches wide, and can be adjusted from 33 to 44 inches in height; one weighs 35.3 pounds so can be moved fairly easily. Instructions are in the box, and some assembly is required.

~ Why ~Barstools 2
We have 2 all wood barstools that are over 35 years old. Although they have held up well, they are uncomfortable and barely can swivel. I like how these modern stools swivel 360 degrees and have 23-32-inch seat to floor dimensions so can be placed lower or higher, based on a table or bar. Another nice feature is they can hold up to 265 pounds. The padded faux leather is thick and should hold up over the years. It took me 15 minutes to assemble by using placing 4 screws into the bottom of the seat with an enclosed Allen wrench and putting 3 pieces together.

~ Why Not ~
Some may not like the modern “saddleback-scoop-like” design of the stools, but they are comfortable and well-padded. Others may prefer all wood furniture. My only issue was the air-pressure shafts did not sync with the hand lever, so I had to manually set the height by pressing the black shaft top knob, and both cannot be adjusted with their levers.

~ Wish ~Barstools 3
It would be a 5 star if the height hand levels worked while sitting on the chairs, but in my case, I could not get them to do so automatically.

~ Want ~
If you are looking a shiny, swivelable, padded, modern set of 2 bar stools at a reasonable price, this may work.
