Good Virtues Co. Happy & Heavenly Shampoo

~ What ~
This small 2.7 fluid ounce plastic bottle with a snap-up lid contains hair shampoo for all types of hair. With the first five ingredients being Water, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, and Palm Kernalamide DEA, it also contains Organic Black Seed Oil and Maca Root Extract. It has no SLES, ALES, Parabens, or Synthetic Colourants. Instructions on the bottle recommend massaging liberally into the hair and scalp and rinsing thoroughly, preferably using the company’s conditioner for best results. There is a manufacturing date of 2016.04 on the bottle.

~ Why ~
With all natural hair that is not chemically treated or colored, I like to use herbs and flower-based shampoos. In using this, I found the fruity, flowery smell was nice but not obnoxious so that it could be used on men’s hair. The opaque solution produces a thick lather with plenty of soft bubbles. I like how my hair squeaked a lot after rinsing.

~ Why Not ~
Some may not like the flowery scent as it seems catered to women more than men, but it does not linger long afterward.  My hair did feel a little weighty, but it could be due to using quite a bit of shampoo on my short hair cut.

~ Wish ~
I wish the sample bottle I received were not so small. It would be great if a scent could last in one’s hair for hours like when wearing perfume or cologne.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a nice smelling shampoo that lathers and rinses with ease, this is a viable option.

Thanks to Good Virtues Company for this complimentary sample that I am freely evaluating.
