BirdRock Baby Moccasins

moccasins~ What ~
Made of a soft leather, these baby moccasins come in four sizes and over twenty selections that include solid or patterned options. With a hidden elastic band that stretches over the ankle, they are designed not to fall off a baby or toddler’s foot. Each pair comes in an off-white drawstring muslin bag with the company logo on the outside.

~ Why ~
Having a four-month-old grandson, in no time he will start walking. I like how this pair of beginner shoes have soft soles and are flexible as they will mold to the child’s foot. Another nice feature is how the elastic band is well-hidden under a designer flap so it is unnoticeable. The cut leather frays do not appear to shred or tear and the seams are uniform.

~ Why Not ~
Some may not like soft sole or flexible shoes for their infants as they prefer something more sturdy or firm when learning to walk. Others may expect an insert on the bottom of the shoe, but these are more for wearing inside or on carpet than outdoors. Unsure what type of leather (they could be made of the less-expensive PU leather), I think the price is on the high side but maybe because the quality carry bag is added.

~ Wish ~
I wish there were all black shoes offered (not black with red bottoms). Having a bow would be a nice touch for females.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a pair of soft, comfortable, stay-on baby or toddler moccasins, this would be a nice selection.

Thanks to BirdRock for this discounted product that I am freely evaluating.
