Exquisite BOH Assorted Tea Sampler

boh-teas“TEA BUSH TO TEA CUP”

~ What ~
Coming in a charming gift box with a sleeve and ribbon holder, this set of a dozen sealed one-serving teas comes from tea growers of Cameron Highlands in Malaysia. Enclosed are two of each flavor: Cameronian Gold Blend, Seri Songket Lime and Ginger as well as Lemon with Mandarin, Camomile,  Peppermint, and Lemon Myrtle. Instructions are on the box stating to pour fresh boiling water onto the tea bag and infuse for three to five minutes according to taste. The container received has an expiration date of September 27, 2019.

~ Why ~
I drink at least four cups of tea a day, usually green tea or varieties of it. This sampler box has fine black, herbal, and fruit flavored teas whose leaves and flowers are picked directly from the growers who also sell it. In tasting the Lemon with Mandarin, I found it full-bodied having both flavors noticeable, dark in color, and tasty without the need to add any sweetener.  I like that all but the Seri Songkets are made of 100% of their listed leaves.

~ Why Not ~
Those who do not like any tea will avoid this sample pack, but they may want to try the simpler ones such as chamomile for rest and relaxation or peppermint for energy. A few may not like any tea that contains ginger as it is potent.

~ Wish ~
I wish more selections were included in a double or twenty-four pack as I go through tea quickly. I wonder if the tea can be purchased loose in bulk.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a nice gift for a tea lover who expects extremely freshly picked leaves when processing, this selection is the shortest journey from “tea bush to tea cup.”

Thanks to BOH for this sample that I am freely evaluating.
