Eden Wine Opener

Quality Wine Opener Gift Set

wine-opener~ What ~
Made of stainless steel, zinc alloy, ABS, and silicone, this set includes a rabbit-ear wine opener and a foil cutter with a free ebook on wine in a gift box. With one handle to squeeze that has silicone gel pads to grip, the opener has a hidden and replaceable worm. The opener measures 6.4 by 5.2 by 1.5 inches, and the cutter is 3.8 by 1.8 by 0.5 inches. Instructions with advantages are included on the box.

~ Why ~
Unlike the regular larger rabbit-ear type wine opener, this one is more compact, so it is easier to store. I like that instead of clamping together two handles that wrap around the wine bottle, only one does the job. In using it, overall I found it a little easier to use than standard larger double-grip openers.

~ Why Not ~
Some may not like having to open any bottle of wine or have an electric wine opener. It states it only works on wooden corks or wood fiber corks so will not work on some bottles. Others may find it frustrating trying to release the cork from the bottle and the corkscrew as that is usually my problem with openers. I could not locate the gel pads, but my hand was comfortable wrapped around the black section that covers the bottle when uncorking.

~ Wish ~
I wish the set were not only in black as others may like alternate colors.

~ Want ~
This is a classy gift set for anyone who enjoys wine as it will be appreciated.

Thanks to Eden for a discounted sample that I am freely evaluating.
