Zero Grid Money Belt

HIDE MONEY IN A BELT

money-belt~ What ~
Made of a durable black nylon with a molded plastic buckle, this black waist belt is adjustable from size 26 to 46-inches. It measures 48 by 1.5 by 0.2 inches and has a 25 by almost 1.5 inch hidden pocket for storing folded money, identification, keys, or other small items. With the strap being waterproof and durable, it does not have to be removed when going through security since there is no metal, even in the extra long YKK zipper.

~ Why ~
One of our sons often travels, so he will appreciate a nice looking functional black belt that also has a hidden pocket for valuables. I like that the area is 33% larger than comparable security belts. Having the long zipper area allows plenty of space for money that is folded lengthwise, a tri-folded passport, or a double-folded identification card.

~ Why Not ~
Some may wish there were other color choices besides black. Others may not like the nylon material, preferring real leather. With a smaller waist than most people, I found when I wore it, there was extra belt material that would need to be tucked in a pants’ loop or perhaps cut off. Also, when wearing, it is hard for one to get to the zippered area as it wraps around mainly the back and sides of the waist.

~ Wish ~
I wish the material used also had RFID blocking capabilities. It would be ideal if the contents of the pocket could be easier to access without having to remove the belt, but it makes sense when traveling and wanting your money tucked away in a secured place.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for an inconspicuous travel belt that can hold more than a few flat, thin items, this would be a good selection, especially since it is TSA approved.
