D’forbidden Coffee

coffeeNICE AROMATIC GROUND COFFEE

~ What ~
Coming in a silver vacuum sealed bag, this 3 by 9 by 2.5-inch soft container only has a logo and company name on the front with no instructions, weight, flavor, or ingredients. It is dark, already ground coffee. No expiration date is added to the package.

~ Why ~
Loving coffee, I was excited to sample this new product and used standard amounts when brewing my first cup (4 large teaspoons to 4 cups of water). The coffee smells wonderful with a hint of sweetness as if it has amaretto or a cherry scent to it. It was full bodied and strong without being tart or overwhelming.

~ Why Not ~
Although this is a sample, usually, a coffee bag has instructions, ingredients, and tips for brewing, but this one comes with no labels except for the logo/company name. Many may want to know what flavor the coffee is, weight, if it is caffeinated or decaffeinated, or where it is manufactured.

~ Wish ~
I wish more information were provided in the free package or that there were papers in the shipment explaining its contents. When trying to research the company online, it could not be found, so I have no clue if this product is truly safe for consumption or not.  I wish there were an expiration date on the package. The grounds would stay fresher longer if they were whole beans.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for coffee that has a nice aroma, this may be a good choice, but it should be labeled properly for consumption. I have marked it down 1 star for not having any information included.

Thanks to D’forbidden Coffee for this sample that I am freely evaluating.

  1. Strange name for a coffee: D’forbidden
But I’m a huge coffee addict and drink more than I really should everyday, but I love dark roasted coffee!
