Best Choice F-16 Toy Fighter Plane

FUN SOARING WITH AN F16

fighter-jet-aWhat ~
Made of ABS plastic, this toy United States F-16 military fighter jet has blue, red, and green flashing lights and makes engine sounds. Its measurements are 10 inches long, 9 inches wide, and 3.5 inches tall and weighs 8 ounces. By using three AA batteries, it is geared for children three years or older. A little assembly is required, and a small Phillips head screwdriver is needed to add the batteries.

~ Why ~
Having a precocious three-year-old granddaughter, she and her daddy go to Seattle’s Museum of Flight several times a month. Both love and are impressed with airplanes. I like how this toy plane makes the jet sounds and has flashing lights on the cockpit, wings, and tail that are noticeable and bright. It also has bump-and-run features, so it turns and keeps rolling on the ground when it touches an object.

~ Why Not ~fighter-jet-b
Some may not like how small the airplane is, but the dimensions are clearly stated online. Parents and adults may grow tired of the engine sounds, but the noise can be turned off by unscrewing the bottom and disabling the speaker wires. Others may not like that they have to assemble the wings and tail, but it is easy to do.

~ Wish ~
I wish the plane included a cap like their other products that could be placed over the automatic rolling wheels, so the toy could be stationary while having sounds and flashing lights.

~ Want ~
If your child or a young one wants to play with an airplane that sounds and looks fairly real, this is a viable option. It would be an ideal gift for children with parents in the military or Air Force.
