Meco 100 Tiny Solar String Lights

meco-lights-1DECORATE WITH SOLAR LIGHTING

~ What ~
This 33-foot strand of 100 LED small waterproof lights is for outdoor use and solar powered. Able to shine 6 to 8 hours after being fully charged by the sun’s rays, there are 2 operating modes of lighting: On/Off or Blinking/Standard. Its built-in battery covers 20,000 hours. Multi-color and warm white options are available. Instructions and a ground spike with the panel are included.

~ Why ~
What I like most about this product is that it is solar-powered, so I do not have to think about turning it on and off daily or running any electrical wires when I decorate for Christmas. Another top feature is how tiny yet bright the lights are that run every 4 inches along the easy-to-bend copper wire. I can twist the strand into a desired position on a branch or post without problems. They work great on a patio for year-round decoration.

~ Why Not ~meco-lights-2
Some may not like the size of the lights, but they do shine brightly and hide well in bushes. Others that live in the Pacific Northwest or where there is limited sun may not think they will light up long enough at night during the short sunny days.

~ Wish ~
With the copper wiring only being 11 yards long, I wish the strand were longer. Online states they last 50,000 hours, yet the enclosed instructions state 20,000.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a strand of small lights that are solar powered, this will brightly decorate outside.

Thanks to MECO for this sample that I am freely evaluating.
