Hitop Warm Tartan Poncho

~ What ~
Made of 100% Acrylic, this women’s plaid buttonless shawl is wide enough that it ends at the three-quarter length on the arms and stops at the mid-thigh. Available in one color, it has black, gray, and red plaid lines against a beige background. It comes with a decorative silver pin with a dangling ball on a chain to secure the poncho. It is recommended to be hand washed in cold water and air dried or dry cleaned. Cleaning instructions are included on an attached tag.

~ Why ~tartan-poncho-2
I like the simpleness of this garment, especially that it can be worn during the winter to keep warm. The material is thick and not see-through. Another nice feature is one side can be swooped over the shoulder to give a scarf effect. It would work well as a stadium blanket that you could wrap yourself with on a cold chilly night. Enclosing the clothing pin is a nice touch.

~ Why Not ~
Some may not like the colors or straight pattern, but it could be tied with a belt to give it shape.  Others may not like the thickness of the material, but it is like being wrapped in a blanket.

~ Wish ~
With only one color option, I wish more colors were available. It would be helpful if the online information regarding the material (Acrylic and Polyester) matched its tag that states it is 100% Acrylic.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a warm winter poncho in muted colors, this is a viable choice and would make a nice Christmas gift or winter birthday present.

Thanks to Hitop for this discounted item that I am evaluating freely.
